This will be the first time taking part in this challenge on my blog. In 2022, I did it via my one place study Sorell but I had a lot of help from other members of the Sorell Historical Society who wrote posts related to them.
This time I will be doing it on my own. So I have decided to make it an A-Z of places in my family history. I will include a list of places here on this post and will link to the post when it has been published. That way everything is in one place.
Arundel – England
Burnie
Carrigans – Ireland
Duggleby – Yorkshire
Evandale
Fremington – Devon
Glenorchy
Honiton’s Clyst – Devon
Isleworth – England
Judbury – cycling
Kingston – London
Lottah
Merton – Devon
Norton – Worcester
Ombersley – Worcester
Portland
Queenstown
Ringarooma
Sandy Bay
Thurleigh – Bedfordshire
Upper Blessington
Van Diemen’s Land
Wollongong
Xtra funny – nowhere else
Yorkshire

Well time for me to get organized and start writing these posts.
What a fun approach to this challenge! I look forward to seeing how it all unfolds 🙂
I look forward to following your places through the Challenge.
I’ll be watching out for your posts.
I love your theme Sue and will be following along. I’ve checked your list of places and there are many that I know nothing about so am very interested
I look forward to following along – I have found I have added enormously to my family history through participating in A to Z challenges in the past
Looking good. it looks like we are planning (although things often change during the challenge) to use the same place for our Z blogs. Intrigued to read your entries during the challenge.
I’m looking forward to reading about the places you’ve chooses I don’t recognise many of them. Good luck!
Good luck with the challenge.
I love this theme. I love travel, and I love family history. To marry the two themes is brilliant!
Thank you all for taking an interest in my theme. As I am writing the posts I am learning so much about the places my ancestors lived in.
